First Timer, and a Bad Announcement
Dec. 7th, 2012 08:57 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Hi, sorry my first post here has to be such bad news, but I really think it's something that everyone need to be aware of.
It seems that someone is trying to sell a *completely different person's fic* on Amazon.com, complete with *stolen fanart*.
This is a BIG DAMN PROBLEM.
You can see it here.
Please, please, please, do anything you think you can do to stop this. Others in the PT fan community are already taking action, but any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

Fanfiction: The Machine Unmakes the Man
May. 12th, 2009 06:19 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Title: The Machine Unmakes the Man
Fandom: Princess Tutu (anime version)
Character(s): Edel and Fakir
Pairing(s): None
Rating: PG (for implied character death and the manner thereof)
Word Count: ~1625
Warnings: Spoilers for episode 13
A/N: Part of my LJ-to-Dreamwidth fanfiction port; originally written in 2007. I would not pry a minute out of episodes 12-13 of Princess Tutu, but it has always troubled me, artistically speaking, that the animators failed to storyboard in even a hint of [spoiler]'s rescue. That character's abrupt reappearance seems more cheaply theatrical than it ought to be in a story which is otherwise much better about managing plot consequences. So here, for anyone interested, is a deleted scene from episode thirteen to fill in the gap. Crossposted from
nebroadwe to
princess_tutu and

Dedication: For Katie the Elder, who also feels the lack.
Remember your place, he'd said as he cut the heartstrings she'd so unexpectedly developed. A cheap deus ex machina, that's what you are, and all that's fit for this degenerate age.

Call for a Beta reader
May. 12th, 2009 04:54 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Hello all. I am an author of a fanfiction that some of you might be familiar with, Ahiru's True Form. I am thinking of working on the next chapter for the story however I will need the help of a beta reader to help me catch mistakes and keep me motivated. Also, since I've been getting a lot of complaints about typos in the previous chapters, I would appreciate it if the beta reader would also help me polish some of the previous chapters as well. If you are interested in helping me out, please let me know. Thanks!
Fanfiction: So a Cat Walks Into a Bar
May. 8th, 2009 10:39 am![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Title: So a Cat Walks Into a Bar ...
Fandom: Princess Tutu (anime version)
Character(s): Mr. Cat, of course; various OCs
Pairing(s): Oh, doesn't he wish ...
Rating: PG (for double entendre and the consumption of [gasp!] spiritous liquors)
Word Count: ~2000
Warnings: My ticket to Writer Hell. Don't say I didn't warn you ...
A/N: Part of my LJ-to-Dreamwidth fanfiction port; originally written in 2007, this piece won Third Place and Members' Choice in the 2007 UFO Awards. Before the shades of Raymond Chandler and Chuck Jones haul me off to meet the worm that dies not, however, I'd like to point out that the LiveJournal user known as fmanalyst proposed I take Mr. Cat as a subject and those known as haleysings and mangaka_chan egged me on. If there's any justice in the cosmos, we'll all roast together for this. Crossposted from

Title: Drabbles: Pas de Caractère
Fandom: Princess Tutu (anime version)
Character(s): Most of the cast.
Pairing(s): Canon 'ships.
Rating: G
Word Count: 900 thus far.
Warnings: None.
A/N: Part of my LJ-to-Dreamwidth fanfiction port; these drabbles were written in 2007, but I may still add one from time to time, as the inspiration strikes me. Notes on matters of interest (or confusion) are grouped together at the bottom of the post. Crossposted to

Dedication: For the LiveJournal user known as fmanalyst, whose recommendation of this series weighed heavily in my decision to acquire and watch it, which I am now very glad I did.
